I ordered 7.5 which usually always works for me in various types of shoes, however, these felt sloppy and I had to tie the strings tighter but then the material cinched up and looked weird. They also felt like they would stretch out and get even bigger. Didn’t want to take the chance for $140.

I bought these to wear as boat shoes and they are great! — comfortable, sturdy and fashionable for on the boat, around the yacht club or just everyday use. I’ve always purchased my boat shoes from the usual manufacturers (Sperry, Dockers) but then ran into trouble with a bunyon that developed on one of my feet. I turned to Clarks for a couple of seasons but needed better support and a sturdier shoe. I was delighted to find Cole Hahn made a boat shoe. I love it!

These shoes are perfect. SUPER comfy out of the box. BUT I am a true size 9 and I had to exchange for 8.5. I find this more frequently with Cole Haan where some of their size 9s fit me but often they’re too big and I have to go down half a size. But awesome shoes, so I also purchased a pair in navy.

I have very difficult feet! I really need comfortable boat shoes with a good grip. These shoes are just right. I can lace them tight enough for my narrower feet and I added a thin arch support for my very high arches. The sole grips great on my boat. I feel like I am walking on marshmallows. Worth the dollars spent.

These “boat” sneaker slip-ons are super cute…they just run a tad big and my heel slipped a bit, even after going down a half size.
