Another gorgeous pair of sandals I wanted to love. They were a bit more than I wanted to spend, but I was looking for a great shoe that looked cute and was comfortable for a cruise I’m going on. While they fit true to size and look gorgeous, that strap around my ankle and the back of my foot was definitely NOT comfortable and I assumed it would only get worse over time.

I bought this for an upcoming cruise, looking for something stylish, but practical too. They’re gorgeous, fit true to size, but I could tell immediately the ankle strap and, more importantly the back piece was going to bother my lower ankle, sooner rather than later. Not good for the purpose I was buying them!

This is the first ankle strap shoe (large ankles) that fit me because of the design. I was so afraid they would be uncomfortable, but they were not. I did not walk in the street with them, as I always wear flats. But I changed over and had them on for a good 2 hours, standing and sitting. So comfortable! And very stylish.

Cole Haan does not regularly offer wide width and their normal width is narrower than other shoe brands. It is disappointing, they have really cute styles that I am not able to wear.

I so wanted to add these shoes to my shoe collection. It is sophisticated, sexy and modern. However, the toe enclosure was too tight at a 7 and 7.5. It was perfect at a size 8, but the 8 buckled around the ankle and overall felt too big. So disappointed. Maybe I have wider toes but at this price point, shoes need to feel comfortable out of the box. I don’t “break in” shoes anymore.
