So my boss pretty much hates on me 99% of the time. She hates if I am engaged in my work, or am just happy. It is so sad, for me, but especially for her, who has spent all her life in anger. And now more than ever, I’ve been walking, riding bikes and busing over to work, and more often than not, I am breathing easier knowing 1.) my future is unwritten and not determined by this negative person, and 2.) I’ve got these revolutionary comfortable and understated shoes between me and the ground. Since I have starting wearing these in, I have had to remind myself not to look like I feel this liberated about the above statements. 🙂

I purchased these for my husband who has size 15 feet and has trouble first of all, finding shoes in his size. He also likes to drive our little sports car but has trouble fitting his his big feet on the shift pedal. He loves these shoes! I was afraid that they would look like clown shoes in a size 15 but they look very stylish and he says they are comfortable too.

Initially I bought the medium width and had to return them because they were too tight on the sides, so I exchanged them for the wider version and they fit perfectly. I’m very happy with the quality and comfort of the shoe. I would recommend them to anyone looking for penny loafers.

I bought these for a casual work shoe. They look great and get a few compliments from time to time. I love them, they’re comfortable, and nearly slipper-like. I have a fairly wide foot (D) and fall between 11.5 and 12 depending on the brand. I went with a 12 and they fit great; however, should I do it over I might go with the 11.5 now that they’ve stretched a little after some wear. Overall, love this shoe.

These are good looking shoes, no doubt. The second time I wore these two people complemented me on them. The color is especially nice. Get some concealed socks (like for Vans slip-ons) and wear these with some semi-casual shorts if you want to look like a boss. My only gripe is that they rub on the sides of my little toes and I do not have wide feet. Maybe they will break in, but that definitely takes away from the comfort. Also, they would blister the back of your heel if you do not wear some kind of socks.

Fantastic shoe. A bit narrower than I expected given I own four other pairs of cole haan shoes in the same size and they weren’t as tight initially. They though are super comfortable, mold to your foot, and the leather is super supple. I highly recommend them.

Classic shoe, beautiful color and nice leather. Got these for my husband. At first he thought they might be snug, but after walking in them a bit, they felt just right. These are made in India…just wish more shoes were made in USA.

Excellent shoe. I usually wear Allen Edmonds. This is my first foray into Cole Haan. I have a narrow foot and the Howland loafer fits nearly perfectly. Only caveat is that once I bought one pair I ended up with three in different colors and textures because they are comfortable and reasonably attractive. Complaint is there aren’t more different styles to choose from in the Howland fit.

I own a few Cole Haan shoes and naturally I love them all but this pair is the first ones I had to have stretched. They were extremely tight over the top of my feet. And I had to get them stretched a second time because the shoe man did not want to stretch them too much..

In line with most of the reviews available before purchase. These shoes started out a bit tight but after wearing them for a couple weeks they fit perfectly. Incredibly comfortable out of the box. Matches the high quality to be expected of Cole Haan shoes.

This is a first-rate pair of driving moccasins, put together with typical Cole Haan quality. I bought them for my college age son who wears them as his dress shoes. He says they fit well right out of the box and now that he’s had them for three months, they’ve become even more comfortable.
He wears them on most dressy occasions and they do look very nice on him
The only negative is the scuffing that occurs on the toe. Sadly, it looks like you just have to live with it if you want to wear this style. of shoe.

Looks like I’m one of the few dissenting opinions for this shoe. Let me say, I normally love Cole Haan loafers, I’ve bought 3 pairs over the last 2 years. I purchased this shoe based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Zappos and I am extremely disappointed. First off, the leather on this shoe looks plastic, like fake pleather (think sneakers) plastic. In addition, the leather is rigid and unforgiving. I’ve tried to break them in for a month, and still extremely painful to wear. Also, if you’re considering buying these, you’ll probably need a 1/2 to full size larger than what you would normally wear. I’ve been stretching this shoe constantly when I’m not wearing them and they still feel a 1/2 size too small and very narrow. I have normal feet and have never had a wideness issue with any other shoe. Also, if you’re one of those people that likes to go sockless every now and then for comfort, do not buy these. I made that mistake and got blisters in 3 different locations on both my feet. I normally love Cole Haans, and will probably buy another pair next year, I just hope they improve on this model’s shortcomings.

Wow. If you are a minimalist runner and need a dress shoe, this is the perfect shoe for you. I love it! It looks great and moves with me. Also, Zappos service rocks! I got on the site, chatted with customer service, they pointed me to this shoe, and I checked out. Total time: 5 minutes. Note: I marked no arch support but that is exactly what I was looking for.
