The heel of these shoes is so tall that it makes walking awkward. The largest complaint I have with this pair of dress shoes is the comfortable factor, they are not comfortable. The material around the ankle that wraps to the front where the laces are literally feels like its just hard plastic pushing into my foot when I walk. I was hoping that these would break in some but its been almost three months and they are the same. They definitely hold up well and don’t need to be shined like my Johnston & Murphy’s but they are also not in the same league of shoe. My toes also feel crowded, especially in my right shoe for some reason. Overall, they met the need I had for a shoe without a hole in the sole (don’t wear leather soles in the winter salt, snowy months), but they are not something I would like to wear long term. I cant wait to get home and take these shoes off most days. Very disappointing! At least they look good.

I ordered these shoes in a size 9 and they are snug, but not painful. I think they will break in well. I wear a size 10 in Nike running shoes, which usually translates to a size 9 in Cole Haan dress shoes.

Great looking cap toe lace up. I always buy wide with with Cole-Hahn and they fit me well, though the top is a little stiff hence the 4 star on comfort.

I ordered an 11.5 and an 11. Usually where 11 and found that these run true to size. 11fit great. Comfortable even as a new shoe while still slightly tight. Will fit perfect after wearing for a while. The shoes do not come as light as shown in picture which was the coloring I was after being a British Tan but still nice color. Heal coloring was dark on the 11.5 but nice offset coloring on 11. Looked more like the picture meaning like stacked leather appearance. Sharp shoe a great for the money. Well worth buying and keeping the 11.

I exchanged a 10 1/2 my usual size, for a 10 because my feet were sliding in them a bit. They will take a little breaking in, I can tell. My heels hurt a bit the first day I wore them all day, but not too bad, and I’m confident that will improve as the leather softens with time.
They look awesome and I am optimistic they will age well with the full grain leather. My last pair I wore for six or so years, but had lower quality leather and have looked pretty rough the last few years. I’m hopeful I can wear these just as long but they’ll wear better.
